Sustainability
Meticulous planning has been conducted to employ some of the highest standards in energy efficiency, water conservation, solar access and ecological sustainability.
By utilising renewable forms of energy, reducing water usage and minimising pollution, the impact of residents on the natural environment will be minimal.
EnviroDevelopment Certification
Wright and Coombs have been certified as Canberra’s first certified EnviroDevelopment projects.
EnviroDevelopment is an industry certification scheme led by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA). It recognises developments that go above and beyond the norm in incorporating sustainability features into their design and execution.
Wright and Coombs have received accreditation in the Energy, Waste, Community and Ecosystems categories, placing them amongst the most sustainable developments in Australia.
The LDA’s design and planning has provided the platform for purchasers to build on this good work through sustainable building choices.
Wright and Coombs will incorporate a wide range of sustainability initiatives everything from Solar Envelope Guidelines which maximise solar access and 7 star rated multi-unit developments, to the recycling and re-use of green waste and the establishment of a dedicated Home Sustainability Advisor to help people build more sustainable homes.
